An excellent vintage

The climatic conditions were excellent throughout the year. Warm and sunny, without being excessively so, with just the right amount of rain to prevent blockages. As part of our constant quest to improve quality, green harvesting was carried out in order to reduce production to 40 hectolitres per hectare.

The results spoke for themselves with perfectly ripe and healthy grapes.
This wine is a true reflection of the excellent year in which it was produced.
Deep, dark red in colour with a powerful, complex nose disclosing black fruits combined with spicy, mineral notes and a touch of mocha. The palate is oily, full-bodied and rich with nice chewy tannins and dense, lingering fruit.

Jean-Marc Quarin

Bravo M. Genevey.”

Sommeliers International

“Robe: Grenat intense brilliant. Nez: Très aromatique, généreux, épices. Elégant et harmonieux. Bouche: attaque franche, fraicheur, harmonie, vin friand, belle rétro-olfaction.”

Guide Dussert-Gerber

Andreas Larson

“The nose is complex with spicy notes and wild fruit, some mineral notes and a touch of oak and mocha. Nicely rounded palate with finely grained tannins, dense fruit and long, spicy aftertaste, good and tempting, albeit young.”
